About » Dr. Chelsea Gordon
Dr. Chelsea Gordon completed her pre-medical bachelor’s degree in health psychology and human biology at Bastyr University in 2006 with a focus in nutrition and childhood psychology. She is currently in her final year at Bastyr University studying naturopathic medicine. She graduated in June 2011 as a naturopathic physician and plans on continuing her training with a pediatric focused residency. In addition to the required coursework, Chelsea has taken additional courses in advanced pediatrics, childbirth education, infant and maternal nutrition, botanical medicine and is currently taking neonatology. She is the co-leader of the Pediatrics Club, teaching assistant for botanical medicine and pediatrics, and has focused her clinical experience in women’s health and pediatrics.
In addition to primary care, Chelsea has a special interest in well child exams, selective vaccination schedules, food introduction counseling, natural family planning, lactation and well woman annual exams. It is her belief that if the foundations of health are established in infancy and childhood, children can be set up for lifelong wellness. In her free time, Chelsea enjoys spending time with her daughter and husband, reading, gardening and cooking.
